Welcome back to Blood Drive. Quick sidebar before things get rolling. Somewhere, in a place called Pixie Swallow, is a diner where human beings are being served as burgers.

Grace and Arthur, still a team on this, day 2 of the Blood Drive, are hungry and the finish line is Pixie Swallow. So, you can see where this is going. But what's weird is that something is missing from this particular finish line...

Julian Slink. He's been summoned to Heart Industries for a mysterious meeting. Once he arrives, it dawns on Julian that this may be the day he gets fired. He is, after all, sitting with someone who's interviewing for a new position. Hmm.

Meanwhile, back in Pixie Swallow, Arthur takes a risk and leaves a message for Christopher to call him back. He thinks that together, they might be able to take down Heart Industries.

Christopher is busy. Dominatrix Aki has him on the table in her lair. She reveals that there are many versions her. She also tells Christopher that he's free to go, but may choose to stay and work for Heart Industries. After an orientation video, he takes off to explore the grounds.

As Arthur and Grace eat burgers made of people and find them delicious, Fat Elvis runs afoul of the wait staff and becomes their next shipment of meat. It gets grosser from here, but yep.

Now. Here's a thing. So that pair of dudes? The Gentleman and the Scholar - turns out they're (only sort of) a couple. The Scholar has a heart-to-heart with Arthur and explains that The Gentleman is a real douche and the Scholar is definitley hung up on him, and also a clearly better person.

While going to see if perhaps Christopher had called him back on that payphone, Arthur learns that the diner is serving people and he and Grace barf their faces off over it. More bad news? Some hillbilly cannibals are en route, so the pair decides to skeedaddle.

After wandering the halls at Heart Industries, Christopher finds his cell-phone and gets Arthur's message.

When Julian learns that the man he'd been sitting next to was hired, he kills him. Right there in the lobby. Nobody at Heart Industries seems bothered by it, but he quickly learns that this guy was actually the new head of maintenance and not a threat? So - what is this meeting about?

After fighting off some cannibal hillbillies, Arthur finally gets to connect with Christopher, who's in the file room at Heart Industries. The two piece together that Grace's sister Karma, is in a Heart Industry mental facility. They really do control everything.

Including, it turns out, a good deal of entertainment. This version of Aki tells Julian Slink that they actually were going to fire him, but now that the Blood Drive seems entertaining, they want him to develop it into a television show.

While Grace searches for The Scholar to fix the car, Arthur finds out that the people who run the diner are looking to flee. He hates this plan because he's obsessed with justice and gets into a fight in the kitchen.

When Grace is hauled off in the meat truck, Arthur and the Scholar work together to fix the car. It works and Arthur is free to have a high-speed chase with the meat truck and captive Grace. The Gentleman is, of course, furious that The Scholar helped another team.

After a high speed chase, Arthur is able to free Grace and confront the cannibal chef. Grace isn't playing around though. She kills him. And feeds him to the car. Fuel!

After he and Arthur decide they can take down Heart Industries, Christopher goes back to Aki. She says the time has come to see what he's all about, and ties him to the table so she can start his "orientation."

When Arthur tells Grace that her sister is in a Heart Industries asylum, she's furious. And now, more than ever, the two have a common plan. Their next move? To veer off the race and save Grace's sister.
