Here's a close-up of Melissa's character. Rick said that he wanted to see her without the teeth because it didn’t add to the overall look. Erin admired how Melissa placed an extra pair of eyes on the model’s face, underneath her real eyes.

Rick wanted Adolfo to give this look a black shiny gloss. Ve appreciated the eye makeup and said that it made the character look a little more feminine.

Tate’s Round 1 look was inspired by a Geisha. Erin loves the iridescence of the paint job pulling it up into the mask. Ve appreciates the beauty makeup but wanted the eyes to have a little more depth.

Melissa felt pressed for time and the judges commented that her final look showed it. Rick didn't like the treatment on the lips and she was eliminated.

Erin liked the tribal makeup and the veins on the side of the head of Adolfo’s post apocalyptic babe. Rick doesn’t buy the mark on the mouth as a “gash”. He would have preferred that it had a stitch along the mouth to make it seem more realistic.

Ve liked Melissa’s character before the spray paint was applied. She felt it looked cooler. Erin comments that Melissa was successful in creating hands that looked like cool, gross numbs. Ultimately, Melissa had issues with the lips / mouth and she was sent home.

Ve loves the choice of brow piece on Tate’s character, calling it really cool and subtle. Ve also really enjoys the paint job.

Check out Tate’s final Round 3 look. Rick wished that the witch would have had a patch of hair missing. Erin and Ve said that he could have used the opportunity to have pieces of raw flesh hanging out instead of focusing so much on having a flawless paint job. But not matter, he won the $10,000 anyway. Congrats, Tate!

Ve wasn’t really keen on the purple but she said that Adolfo did great on this paint job and loved the details in the hairline and the subtle touch of the character's widow’s peak. Rick didn’t like the line down the middle of the face being so symmetrical.
