Wargasm: Season 3, Episode 10

When we last left our heroes, the dying Khlyen had delivered one last chilling message to Dutch: that Level 6's, or Hullen, a race of nearly invicible, power-hungry superhumans were planning to take over the universe, and subjugate everyone else into slavery or just straight up kill them. And guess what? That wasn't just some of Khlyen's idle blustering: this Hullen confirms the bad news.

Meanwhile, Johnny is still on the lam, and has enlisted the help of a hackmod to track down Clara, his own hackmod friend. It turns out that Clara is actually Clara, but with some heavy duty reconstructive surgery. She had her memory scrambled, and was slipped into a new skin suit after reclamation.

To help them track down Hullen insurgents and recruit RAC agents to their cause, Turin has brought on some geeky interns to assist Dutch and D'avin. They're green, but with some practice, they might work.

This is Zeph. She's the standout in the group, especially during a simulation used to test the new recruits' skills and tempers. Although she doesn't always follow the rules, she is a biology genius and a quick thinker. She's also got great facial expressions.

Johnny realizes that his real home is on Lucy with the other Killjoys, and so, despite the warrant out for his arrest, he returns to the ship.

The Killjoys rounded up the Black Root ships on Arkyn before they left, and now they're fully manned enough to give them a whirl. Strangely, D'avin's genes (the ones on his hand) are the key to starting the ship — meaning he can captain the fleet. Bracket that for the moment, though, as the Killjoys pilot the ship to the last place the craft visited.

This is Aneela, who, if you remember, is Khlyen's daughter, Hullen, and also planning the takeover of the human race and world. She was just given the bad news by Delle Seyah (also onboard) and her right-hand man Gander that Khlyen's dead. She's taking the news...pretty good!

341803

This strange planet is stuck in the past. The people here have all been blinded and kept captive by Hullen overlords — namely Khlyen. They've been awaiting the return of their supernatural messiah…but he never showed, and never will now that he's dead. When they hear that news, they turn on the Killjoys, who manage to escape only thanks to Zeph.

Killjoys_Season_ 3_101_9.jpg
341804

On this planet is something Khlyen left behind, though: The Remnant. What it contains, we don't know just yet, as the box is locked.

Killjoys_Season_ 3_101_10.jpg
341805

And remember that warrant out for Johnny's arrest? Turns out it was for "killing" Delle Seyah. We all know she's not dead, but the RAC seems to think otherwise. So they take him in.

341806

While conducting some genetic testing on D'avin, Zeph activates something in his own plasma-infused blood that transports him to Aneela's ship, where he's able to see Delle Seyah alive in real life (is this real life, though? He's teleporting). Anyway, it's enough proof for the RAC to void Johnny's arrest warrant.

341807

The Killjoys have a hunch that the RAC is infested with Hullen sleeper cells. They plan and execute an incursion with a small army of intrepid soldiers. But the Hullen were tipped off prior to attack, and the Killjoys walked right into a deathtrap. After counting up the bodies, they go after the rat and a way off the RAC.

341808

D'avin's not having stomach cramps, he's using his mind to explode Hullen brains inside their skulls. See, he and his brother were captured by Hullen on the RAC and tortured into (almost) divluging top-secret secrets about their mission. But D'avin has got some cool tricks up his sleeve, even if they will give him crow's feet.

341809

Dutch and Johnny find a weapon that they can use to target Hullen onboard the ship and make them go boom. But there's a risk: if they get any of their own in the cross-hairs, they'll go boom too. So there's a narrow margin of error. Well, here goes! It works, and with the Hullen on the RAC boomed-out, they can bring the survivors back to safety.

Perhaps the love bug bit her in the right place, but Aneela is making crazy breakthroughs with the plasma. She's overjoyed, and Gander shares in this excitement. It means it's his cue to stage his mutiny. He monitors Aneela closely, but not before he separates Delle Seyah from her and lock her up. When Aneela finds out what Gander's been up to, she FLIPS OUT! What has Gander been up to, exactly?

Killjoys_Season_ 3_101_17.jpg
341812

Oh, pumping Delle Seyah full of plasma. That's what.

Killjoys_Season_ 3_101_18.jpg
341813

Dutch has basically abandoned the army and instead asked Zeph to help her mine her own past. Inside the Remnant were Aneela's memories, and Dutch gets a chance to see them — in all their father-daughter, plasma-coated glory. She learns that Khlyen locked Aneela up in the cube to protect her from the outside world, and vice versa.

Killjoys_Season_ 3_101_19.jpg
341814

Meanwhile, D'avin has assumed the role of general, usurping Turin after he proved himself a major jackass in front of everyone, and after Dutch went MIA. It makes sense, though, too: D'avin is mean and green, just like the Hullen.

Killjoys_Season_ 3_101_20.jpg
341815

And the mother of all the memories happens to be a maternal one: Aneela brought Dutch OUT OF HER OWN PLASMA. That makes Dutch a kind of clone-daughter of Aneela. It's cool, until Zeph and Dutch both realize that if you kill Aneela, you also kill Dutch. That's not cool.

Killjoys_Season_ 3_101_21.jpg
341816

If the Killjoys are going to win this war agains the Hullen, they're going to need something that will disrupt their incredibly advanced fleet. It calls for some sonic warfare, and such an instrument exists…but in the possession of a clan called the Mole Miners. So, D'avin goes undercover and, along with the rest of the Killjoys, nabs it.

Killjoys_Season_ 3_101_22.jpg
341817

After torturing Gander for awhile, Aneela squeezes from his memories Delle Seyah's whereabouts. She springs her free - and we see Delle Sayeh is pregnant (!?).

Killjoys_Season_ 3_101_23.jpg
341818

It's the eve of war, called Reckoning Night, and the Killjoys are getting their ducks in a row. Of course, their preparations are itnerrupted when Delle Seyah drops in on the RAC ship and demands a parley — a peaceful negotations period. She only used this as an excuse to get Johnny to perform a paternity test on her unborn child. Turns out, it's D'avins child...and it's also Hullen. WTF.

Killjoys_Season_ 3_101_24.jpg
341819

Dutch is fully resigned to sacrificing herself to save the rest of humanity by killing Aneela. And sacrificial plans definitely come with their perks: including making out with D'avin.

Killjoys_Season_ 3_101_25.jpg
341820

War is underway, and the RAC and Hullen are going at it like cats and dogs. But Dutch is able to inject her own memories into Aneela's brain (the memories that Khlyen kept stored in the Remnant) that are evidence of the genetic and emotional link between the two. Aneela's Dutch's twin-sister-parent. A new bond forged, Aneela asks Dutch to help her defeat The Lady that lives in the Plasma. The Lady wants to get out, and if she does, then all hell really will break loose. (You thought this was hell? This was nothing.) So together they go hand-in-hand...into the green.

Killjoys_Season_ 3_101_26.jpg
341821

Meanwhile, Johnny, D'avin and Delle Seyah have been trapped inside a shuttle, hurtling through space. There they must endure each other's company until they figure out a way out, or until they asphyxiate from lack of oxygen.
