Khlyen reveals himself, and neutralizes the three Black Root agents with a special serum he cooked up. Lock, stock, and chemical barrel.

If they can get this amber stuff into the green stuff, they should be able to save the Quad from total destruction. And stuff.

Meanwhile, Khlyen warns Delle Seyah that his race will be descending on Old Town momentarily to retrieve the rest of the plasma that was taken from them. It would appear that Khlyen is playing both sides of the fence here. Or is he?

Dutch and Khlyen go to the high-security bank Archive to retrieve Khlyen’s plasma plant from expensive storage.

While D’avin and Fancy Lee occupy themselves with kicking Archive guard tail.

Dutch pours the vial of counteragent into the plasma pound that feeds the tree. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work.

So Khlyen must inject himself with the poison, and then use the black blood that comes out of his veins to speed up the tree’s decay. Which puts him in a awkward place because he's going to die and it puts Dutch in an awkward place because he dies in front of her. Complicated relationship, that was just made even more complicated.

The Arkyn plasma inside all Sixes is rendered inert, and those Sixes become merely human again.

Johnny honors Pawter by shooting Delle Seyah in the gut. It was actually Johnny who sent Delle Seyah the fake message, earlier, from Khlyen. Nice!

Knowing that he'll have to get the hells out of Old Town, Johnny boards Lucy and finds Clara there (remember, she was the half-cyborg from the season opener). Lucy called Clara to keep Johnny company.

And Dutch, well Dutch won’t stop until Aneela is stopped. And the only one who can stop Aneela…is Dutch. And so we wait, until it all comes full (green plasma) circle.
