WARNING: If you don't want to know what happened in this episode, don't read this photo recap!

The Killjoys interrupt RAC Captain Cardiff while he's knocking boots with some important news: they're abducting him. This couldn't have waited until after the cigarette?

Cardiff is in good company. The Killjoys have abducted two other top-ranking RAC agents in order to show them firsthand the existential threat the Hullen pose to them and their officers.

To demonstrate to the captains what a Hullen is, Dutch puts a gash in the face of one of Turin's guinnea pigs, Kitaan. It heals almost instantly.

Dutch, D'avin, Johnny and Turin are planning an all-ought insurgency, targeting the Hullen sleeper cells on Commander Banyon's RAC fleet. They've rounded up Killjoys committed to extinguishing this alien threat.

Before onboarding the RAC ship, Johnny sets off a nerve agent to pour in through the vents that will paralyze all the Hullen and non-Hullen on board. Dutch's team has been given masks to save themselves from the effects.

Once they've breached the ship, Dutch and company get to testing for and killing off Hullen scum. Luckily, all the passengers have been temporarily paralyzed.

Or have they? The Hullen appear impervious to the nerve gas and wake up, giving the Killjoys a run for their money.

Upon closer inspection of the fallen Hullen, Johnny notices that they were all dosing on an antidote to counteract the effects of the paralyzing gas. Someone tipped them off.

And Fancy Lee is going to find out who. He thinks that Kitaan, who's only been in Turin's lab for a short time, might have some answers. She wastes no time in trying to lure back Lee to the dark side. He almost gives in.

331950

While searching the RAC ship for more Hullen, Dutch, D'avin and Johnny are quickly encircled by Radek and a team of his Hullen men. The Killjoys are ordered to drop their weapons.

Radek kept Johnny and D'avin alive so that he could torture one or both of them into confessing how it was they went about poisoning the plasma supply on Arkyn. They don't tell, so Radek applies pressure. To Johnny's brain.

Killjoys_gallery_305Recap_13.jpg
331953

The device Radek hooked to Johnny's head to can wipe his mind clean of all its memories. It also hurts like a son of a gun. It's hard for D'avin to watch.

Killjoys_gallery_305Recap_14.jpg
331954

Cardiff voices his doubts about Fancy Lee's loyalty to Turin. Lee, an ex-Hullen, could have leaked the plot to his old buddies on the ship. Turin doesn't dismiss this theory, and starts to question Lee's allegiance himself.

331955

Dutch isn't long in the RAC armory before she's come upon by Commander Banyon, who is revealed as the head Hullen honcho. Banyon's been on Dutch's case since day one. It's go time.

Killjoys_gallery_305Recap_16.jpg
331956

Except Dutch kicks her ass and stabs her (also, Banyon is human, not Hullen, but works for them anyway).

Killjoys_gallery_305Recap_17.jpg
331957

Neither Johnny nor D'avin are coming clean about the Arkyn job, so Radek has to step his game up a notch. He threatens to kill the "innocent" Killjoy McCavoy if they don't talk. But when McCavoy reveals that it was he who squealed about the plan to the Hullen (in exchange for plasma transfusion), nobody could care less if he dies. And then he does.

Killjoys_gallery_305Recap_18.jpg
331958

Alright, D'avin's had enough of this game. He uses some Hullen mind-tricks to telepathically blow up one of his Hullen captor's brains.

Killjoys_gallery_305Recap_19.jpg
331959

It looks like this. Radek, impressed with D'avin's skills, wants to keep him in solitary confinement lest he pull off any more similar stunts. He leaves Johnny alone with a Hullen underling. Smart.

Killjoys_gallery_305Recap_20.jpg
331960

Dutch breaks into the torture room, disposes of the guard, frees Johnny, and shows him a gift she brought him: a bomb. Awww, thoughtful. He can program the bomb to target Hullen alone, leaving human ship members untouched. Hopefully. That brain scrambling device really scrambled his brain.

Killjoys_gallery_305Recap_21.jpg
331961

Meanwhile, Kitaan has gotten Lee in a headlock. Turin is actually considering blowing the two of them up in the event that the whole thing is a diversion. Cardiff (ignorant of recent revelations) is certain Lee is the mole, and Turin just doesn't know anymore.

Killjoys_gallery_305Recap_22.jpg
331962

Before Turin can kill them both, Lee manages to disengage the headlock and wrestle Kitaan to the ground. Phew. That was a close one. But perhaps the blow that hurt Lee the most was seeing Turin doubt him. There's a rift in that friendship now.

Killjoys_gallery_305Recap_23.jpg
331963

So, turns out Johnny didn't lose all his marbles undergoing intense mental torture. He detonates the bomb, and all the Hullen onboard the RAC ship get evaporated instantaneously.

RAC outposts like Cardif's. Well, if ever there were an opportunity to remodel…

Delle Seyah is so turned on by the display of raw and vast power that she has no choice but to make a pass at Aneela. It's reciprocated.
